(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 인공지능(AI)과 로봇, 드론 등 최첨단 디지털 기술을 도민들이 직접 경험할 수 있는 특별한 장을 마련한다.
전남도와 전남정보문화산업진흥원은 오는 16일 오전 10시 30분부터 오후 6시까지 LF스퀘어 광양점 잔디광장에서 ‘AI·ICT 신기술 체험·전시의 날’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 어렵게 느껴질 수 있는 인공지능과 정보통신기술(ICT)을 누구나 쉽고 친숙하게 접할 수 있도록 전시와 체험 위주의 프로그램으로 구성됐다.
주요 전시 구역에서는 AI 기반 키오스크와 로봇 활용 콘텐츠 등 최신 기술이 적용된 사례들을 생생하게 살펴볼 수 있다. 특히 단순히 보는 것에 그치지 않고, 방문객이 직접 참여할 수 있는 ▲AI 키오스크 체험 ▲로봇 초상화 그리기 ▲드론 조종 및 비행 체험 등 다채로운 프로그램이 운영될 예정이다.
도는 미래 세대인 학생과 청소년들이 디지털 기술에 대한 창의력을 키울 수 있도록 참여형 콘텐츠를 대폭 강화했다. 또한 가족 단위 방문객도 함께 즐길 수 있는 소통형 프로그램을 마련해 미래 기술을 매개로 한 지역 축제의 장이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
홍기주 전남도 스마트정보담당관은 “이번 행사는 AI와 로봇 등 차세대 신기술을 피부로 느끼며 미래 산업에 대한 관심을 높이는 계기가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 전남이 AI·ICT 혁신의 중심지로 거듭날 수 있도록 도민 체감형 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.
