AI 신약개발·ADC까지… 미래 바이오 기술 협력 확대
이번 프로그램은 서울바이오허브와 삼성바이오에피스가 처음으로 공동 운영하는 오픈이노베이션 프로그램이다. 국내 바이오 스타트업과 글로벌 바이오 기업 간 협업 기회를 확대하고 차세대 바이오 기술 사업화를 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
삼성바이오에피스는 이번 프로그램을 자사 스타트업 육성 프로그램인 ‘C랩 아웃사이드(C-Lab Outside)’의 일환으로 추진한다. 기존 바이오시밀러 중심 사업에서 항체·펩타이드 기반 신약과 AI 기반 신약개발 영역까지 연구 범위를 확대하면서 외부 기술 협업도 강화하고 있다는 설명이다.
특히 최근 바이오 업계에서는 AI를 활용한 신규 타깃 발굴과 ADC(항체약물접합체), 이중항체 플랫폼 등이 차세대 성장 분야로 주목받고 있다. 삼성바이오에피스 역시 관련 기술 확보를 위한 연구개발과 오픈이노베이션을 확대하고 있다.
이번 프로그램은 단순 육성 지원을 넘어 삼성바이오에피스의 실제 연구·사업 수요와 연결된 공동 연구 및 기술검증(PoC) 중심 협업 모델이라는 점이 특징이다.
모집 대상은 창업 8년 미만 바이오·의료 기업이며 최대 2개사를 선발한다. 모집 분야는 △항체 기반 치료제 요소 기술 △펩타이드 기반 치료 기술 △AI 기반 신규 약물 개발 플랫폼 등이다. 세부적으로는 이중항체 기술, ADC 플랫폼, 신규 페이로드·링커 기술, AI 기반 항체·타깃 발굴, 펩타이드 치료제 개발 기술 등이 포함된다.
선정 기업에는 약 1년간 삼성바이오에피스 임직원 멘토링과 기술 검증(PoC), 맞춤형 액셀러레이팅 프로그램이 제공된다. 서울바이오허브 입주권과 임대료 지원도 함께 이뤄진다. 프로그램 종료 이후에는 공동연구, 기술이전, 공동 사업화, 전략적 투자 여부까지 검토될 예정이다.
서울바이오허브 관계자는 “이번 프로그램이 국내 유망 바이오 스타트업들에게 실질적인 사업화와 전략적 협업 기회로 이어질 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다.

From AI drug discovery to ADCs… Expanding cooperation in future biotechnology
This program is the first open innovation program jointly operated by Seoul Biohub and Samsung Bioepis. It was established to expand collaboration opportunities between domestic bio startups and global bio companies and to support the commercialization of next-generation bio technologies.
Samsung Bioepis is launching this program as part of its startup incubation program, 'C-Lab Outside.' The company explained that it is strengthening external technology collaborations while expanding its research scope from its existing biosimilar-centric business to include antibody and peptide-based new drugs and AI-based drug development.
In particular, the biotech industry has recently been focusing on AI-driven novel target discovery, ADCs (Antibody-Drug Conjugates), and bispecific antibody platforms as next-generation growth areas. Samsung Bioepis is also expanding its R&D and open innovation efforts to secure related technologies.
This program is characterized by a collaboration model centered on joint research and proof of concept (PoC) connected to Samsung Bioepis' actual research and business needs, going beyond simple support for incubation.
The recruitment targets are bio and medical companies established less than eight years ago, and a maximum of two companies will be selected. The recruitment fields include antibody-based therapeutic component technologies, peptide-based therapeutic technologies, and AI-based novel drug development platforms. Specifically, these include bispecific antibody technology, ADC platforms, novel payload and linker technologies, AI-based antibody and target discovery, and peptide therapeutic development technologies.
Selected companies will be provided with mentoring from Samsung Bioepis employees, proof-of-concept (PoC), and a customized acceleration program for approximately one year. They will also receive occupancy rights at the Seoul Biohub and rent support. Following the conclusion of the program, the possibility of joint research, technology transfer, joint commercialization, and strategic investment will be reviewed.
An official from Seoul Biohub said, “We expect this program to lead to practical commercialization and strategic collaboration opportunities for promising domestic bio startups.”

AI新薬開発・ADCまで…将来のバイオ技術協力の拡大
今回のプログラムはソウルバイオハブとサムスンバイオエピスが初めて共同運営するオープンイノベーションプログラムだ。国内バイオスタートアップとグローバルバイオ企業間のコラボレーション機会を拡大し、次世代バイオ技術事業化を支援するために設けられた。
サムスンバイオエピスは今回のプログラムを自社スタートアップ育成プログラムである「Cラップアウトサイド（C-Lab Outside）」の一環として推進する。既存のバイオシミラー中心事業から抗体・ペプチドベースの新薬とAIベースの新薬開発領域まで研究範囲を拡大し、外部技術の協業も強化しているという説明だ。
特に最近のバイオ業界では、AIを活用した新規ターゲット発掘とADC（抗体薬物接合体）、二重抗体プラットフォームなどが次世代成長分野として注目されている。サムスンバイオエピスも関連技術確保のための研究開発とオープンイノベーションを拡大している。
今回のプログラムは、単純育成支援を超え、サムスンバイオエピスの実際の研究・事業需要につながった共同研究および技術検証（PoC）中心のコラボレーションモデルだという点が特徴だ。
募集対象は創業8年未満のバイオ・医療企業で、最大2社を選抜する。募集分野は、△抗体ベースの治療薬要素技術、△ペプチドベースの治療技術、△AIベースの新規薬物開発プラットフォームなどである。詳細には、二重抗体技術、ADCプラットフォーム、新規ペイロード・リンカー技術、AIベースの抗体・ターゲット発掘、ペプチド治療剤開発技術などが含まれる。
選定企業には約1年間、サムスンバイオエピス役員のメンタリングと技術検証（PoC）、カスタマイズされたアクセラレーティングプログラムが提供される。ソウルバイオハブ入居券と賃料支援も一緒に行われる。プログラム終了後は、共同研究、技術移転、共同事業化、戦略的投資の可否まで検討される予定だ。
ソウルバイオハブ関係者は「今回のプログラムが国内有望バイオスタートアップらに実質的な事業化と戦略的コラボレーション機会につながると期待する」と話した。

该项目是首尔生物中心和三星生物制剂公司联合运营的首个开放式创新项目。其设立旨在拓展韩国国内生物科技初创企业与全球生物科技公司之间的合作机会，并支持下一代生物技术的商业化。
三星生物制剂公司推出此项目，作为其创业孵化项目“C-Lab Outside”的一部分。该公司解释说，此举旨在加强外部技术合作，同时将其研究范围从现有的以生物类似药为中心的业务扩展到包括基于抗体和肽的新药以及基于人工智能的药物开发。

本次招募对象为成立时间不超过八年的生物医药公司，最多入选两家。招募领域包括抗体类治疗成分技术、肽类治疗技术以及基于人工智能的新型药物开发平台。具体而言，包括双特异性抗体技术、抗体药物偶联物（ADC）平台、新型有效载荷和连接子技术、基于人工智能的抗体和靶点发现以及肽类治疗开发技术。
入选企业将获得三星生物制剂员工的指导、概念验证（PoC）以及为期约一年的定制化加速计划。他们还将获得首尔生物科技园的办公空间使用权和租金补贴。计划结束后，双方将探讨联合研究、技术转让、联合商业化和战略投资的可能性。
首尔生物中心的一位官员表示：“我们希望该计划能为有前途的国内生物科技初创企业带来实际的商业化和战略合作机会。”

Ce programme est le premier programme d'innovation ouverte géré conjointement par Seoul Biohub et Samsung Bioepis. Il a été créé pour développer les opportunités de collaboration entre les jeunes entreprises chinoises du secteur des biotechnologies et les sociétés internationales du secteur, et pour soutenir la commercialisation des biotechnologies de nouvelle génération.
Samsung Bioepis lance ce programme dans le cadre de son programme d'incubation de start-up, « C-Lab Outside ». L'entreprise explique qu'elle renforce ses collaborations technologiques externes tout en élargissant son champ de recherche, initialement centré sur les biosimilaires, pour inclure de nouveaux médicaments à base d'anticorps et de peptides ainsi que le développement de médicaments basés sur l'IA.

Les domaines de recrutement comprennent les technologies de composants thérapeutiques à base d'anticorps, les technologies thérapeutiques à base de peptides et les plateformes de développement de nouveaux médicaments basées sur l'IA. Plus précisément, il s'agit de la technologie des anticorps bispécifiques, des plateformes ADC, des nouvelles technologies de charges utiles et de liaison, de la découverte d'anticorps et de cibles par l'IA et des technologies de développement de thérapies peptidiques.
Les entreprises sélectionnées bénéficieront d'un mentorat assuré par les employés de Samsung Bioepis, d'une preuve de concept (PoC) et d'un programme d'accélération personnalisé d'une durée d'environ un an. Elles se verront également attribuer des droits d'occupation au sein du Seoul Biohub ainsi qu'une aide au loyer. À l'issue du programme, les possibilités de recherche conjointe, de transfert de technologie, de commercialisation conjointe et d'investissement stratégique seront étudiées.
Un responsable de Seoul Biohub a déclaré : « Nous espérons que ce programme débouchera sur une commercialisation concrète et des opportunités de collaboration stratégique pour les jeunes entreprises prometteuses du secteur des biotechnologies en Corée du Sud. »
