산청군, 지역특화발전특구 컨설팅 지원사업 선정

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 산청군은 중소벤처기업부의 ‘2026년 지역특화발전특구 컨설팅 지원사업’ 공모에 선정됐다고 14일 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 전국 171개 지역특화발전특구 가운데 10개 특구를 선정해 민간전문가와 지방중소벤처기업청, 중소기업진흥공단 등으로 구성된 지원단이 맞춤형 컨설팅을 제공하는 사업이다.

산청군은 한방약초를 활용한 지역 발전 가능성과 적극적인 행정 추진 의지를 인정받아 최종 선정됐다.

군은 이번 사업을 통해 한방약초산업특구의 애로사항과 성장 저해 요인을 분석하고, 특구 활성화를 위한 과제를 도출할 계획이다.

또 전문가 컨설팅을 바탕으로 한방약초산업과 관광을 연계한 활성화 방안을 마련해 생활인구 유입과 지역 상권 활성화에도 나설 방침이다.

산청군은 앞으로 중기부 공모사업과 연계해 지역경제 활성화 사업을 지속 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
