학교는 공간 설계 단계부터 유연한 학습 환경과 학생들의 정서적 안정을 핵심 가치로 삼았다. 도서관과 연계된 개방형 북스텝 ‘책오름’, 학년별 홈베이스인 ‘꿈나무’, ‘꿈자람’, ‘꿈마루’ 등이 조성돼 학생들이 자연스럽게 배움과 휴식, 소통을 할 수 있도록 배려했다.
이날 준공식에서는 학생 국악동아리의 식전 공연을 시작으로, 학생 도슨트가 직접 새롭게 단장된 공간을 안내했다. 이어 교육감 격려사가 이어지면서, 학생과 교사, 학부모 등 교육공동체가 함께 만든 학교의 의미를 나누는 시간도 가졌다.
