광주시, 명예 통역관 10명 위촉

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=광주 이현준기자] 광주시는 28일 2026년 광주시 명예 통역관 위촉장 수여식을 열고 총 10명의 명예 통역관을 위촉했다.

명예 통역관 제도는 지역 내 국제적 인재를 발굴하여 외국어 인력단을 구축하고 현장 중심의 통역 지원 체계를 강화하기 위해 운영된다.

이번에 위촉된 통역관들은 영어, 중국어, 일본어 등 다양한 언어 능력과 해외 경험을 갖춘 인력들로 구성됐으며 향후 2년간 국제행사 통역, 외빈 안내, 지역 내 외국인 및 결혼이민자 대상 통역 지원 업무를 수행한다. 수여식 이후 진행된 차담회에서는 활동 방향과 역할에 대한 의견 교환이 이뤄졌다.
