[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 고성군가족센터가 '2025년 경상남도 가족센터 우수사업 공모'에서 다문화 청소년 진로지원 사업 '다름을 넘어, 함께 성장하는 진로여행'으로 최우수상을 수상했다.

이번 공모는 경남지역 가족센터가 추진한 가족지원 사업의 우수성과 지역사회 파급효과를 평가하는 것으로, 고성군가족센터는 도내 20개 가족센터 가운데 최우수 사업으로 선정됐다.

수상 사업은 인구감소지역인 고성의 특성을 반영해 다문화가정 자녀들이 지역 산업과 직업 현장을 직접 체험하며 진로를 탐색할 수 있도록 기획됐다. 농어촌청소년육성재단 공모사업 지원을 받아 맞춤형 프로그램으로 운영된 점도 높은 평가를 받았다.

특히 지역 기반 진로체험을 통해 청소년들이 고향에서 미래를 설계할 수 있도록 지원하며, 지역 인재 유출을 막고 청년층의 정주 기반을 마련하는 데 기여한 점에서 의미를 인정받았다.
