[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도가 오는 27일 제2회 우주항공의 날을 맞아 오는 23일부터 29일까지 ‘우주항공 주간’을 운영하고 도내 전역에서 산업·학술·문화 연계 행사를 개최한다.
도는 우주항공산업 발전 유공자 포상, 투자유치 설명회(IR), 국제학술대회, 청소년 대상 전문가 특강, 전시·체험 프로그램 등을 집중 추진한다고 19일 밝혔다.
도는 올해 처음으로 우주항공산업 발전 유공자 포상을 신설해 산업 경쟁력 강화와 지역경제 활성화에 기여한 민간인 10명에게 도지사 표창을 수여할 계획이다.
또 27일에는 경남창조경제혁신센터와 함께 지역 우주항공 기업 투자유치 설명회를 온라인으로 개최한다. 캠프·일켐·지티엘 등 지역 기업이 참여해 투자사 대상 기업설명(IR)을 진행한다.
학술행사로는 경상국립대학교 에서 28~29일 ‘제7회 항공핵심기술 국제컨퍼런스(ICACT 2026)’가 열린다. 국내외 산·학·연 관계자들이 항공우주 첨단소재와 위성시스템 등 기술 동향을 공유할 예정이다.
도민 참여형 행사도 이어진다. 27일 우주항공청 일원에서는 우주항공 전시·체험 행사가 열리며, 월성우주창의과학관 과 김해천문대 에서는 천체관측과 로켓 제작 체험 프로그램 등이 진행된다.

In celebration of the 2nd Space & Aviation Day on the upcoming 27th, Gyeongsangnam-do will operate ‘Space & Aviation Week’ from the 23rd to the 29th and host linked industrial, academic, and cultural events throughout the province.
The province announced on the 19th that it will intensively promote awards for meritorious contributors to the development of the space & aviation industry, investment attraction briefings (IR), international academic conferences, expert lectures for youth, and exhibition and experiential programs.
