[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도가 도내 우주항공기업들과 함께 세계 최대 규모의 항공우주 전시회인 '2026 판보로 에어쇼'에 참가해 해외시장 개척과 글로벌 공급망 진입에 나선다.
경남도는 경남테크노파크와 함께 오는 20일부터 24일까지 영국 판보로 공항에서 열리는 판보로 에어쇼에 도내 우주항공기업 8개사의 참가를 지원한다고 16일 밝혔다.
참가 기업은 우림피티에스, 지티에이에어로스페이스, 에이엔에이치스트럭처, 엔젤럭스, 율곡, 송월테크놀로지, 디케이락, 한국카본이다. 도는 경상남도 우주항공산업 홍보관을 운영하며 글로벌 기업의 기술·구매 수요를 사전에 발굴해 기업별 맞춤형 비즈니스 상담을 지원할 계획이다.
특히 캐나다 에어로 몬트리올, 스페인 안달루시아 항공우주 클러스터, 벨기에 등 해외 기관과의 협력 네트워크를 활용해 글로벌 기업과 도내 기업 간 구매 상담을 연계하고 신규 수주와 공급망 진입을 적극 지원한다.
경남도는 전시회 기간 오는 10월 개최되는 '2026 사천에어쇼'와 '우주항공방위산업전'도 함께 홍보하며 해외 기업과 기관의 참가 유치 활동을 병행할 예정이다.
판보로 에어쇼는 파리·싱가포르 에어쇼와 함께 세계 3대 항공우주 전시회로 꼽힌다. 지난 2024년 행사에는 42개국 1,500여 개 기업이 참가했으며, 당시 경남 기업 12개사는 4,300만 달러 규모의 수출 상담 실적을 올렸다.
이동훈 경남도 우주항공산업과장은 "글로벌 기업의 수요를 미리 파악해 도내 기업과 연결하는 수요 맞춤형 해외 마케팅에 집중하고 있다"며 "실질적인 수주 성과로 이어질 수 있도록 지원을 강화하겠다"고 말했다.

Gyeongnam Province announced on the 16th that, in collaboration with Gyeongnam Technopark, it will support the participation of eight local aerospace companies in the Farnborough Airshow, which will be held at Farnborough Airport in the UK from the 20th to the 24th.
The participating companies are Woori PTS, GTA Aerospace, ANH Structure, Angellux, Yulgok, Songwol Technology, DK-Lock, and Hankook Carbon. The province plans to operate a Gyeongsangnam-do Aerospace Industry Promotion Pavilion to identify technology and purchasing demands from global companies in advance and support customized business consultations for each company. During the exhibition, Gyeongnam Province plans to promote the '2026 Sacheon Air Show' and the 'Aerospace & Defense Exhibition,' scheduled for this coming October, while simultaneously engaging in activities to attract participation from overseas companies and organizations.
The Farnborough Air Show is considered one of the world's top three aerospace exhibitions, alongside the Paris and Singapore Air Shows. At the 2024 event, over 1,500 companies from 42 countries participated, and 12 companies from Gyeongnam achieved export consultation results worth $43 million.
Lee Dong-hoon, Head of the Aerospace Industry Division at Gyeongnam Province, stated, "We are focusing on demand-tailored overseas marketing that identifies the needs of global firms in advance and connects them with local companies," adding, "We will strengthen our support to ensure these efforts lead to tangible order outcomes."
