Good morning! While other kids were watching cartoons, I was watching cooking shows. Maybe that’s why my dream job is to be a restaurant critic. More recently, I’ve fallen in love with “Top Chef” and all of its creative challenges. Cooking shows often lean hard into conflict, but newer seasons of “Top Chef”
are more compassionate and collaborative

On a romantic note …
Two things you didn’t really need to know but now do:
Are Harry Styles and Zoë Kravitz engaged?
Kravitz was spotted last week wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring. It also got people talking about how fast celebrity couples move.
I don’t watch “Summer House,” but the dating drama between Amanda Batula, West Wilson and Ciara Miller has spilled onto my feed. Many viewers described
the betrayal of a friend dating your ex as a canon event
. Hopefully, it’s never a part of my lore.

I haven’t had a chance to pick up a new book in a while. My colleagues on the Book Review put together a list of their faves of this year so far. Even before looking at it, I ordered “Yesteryear.”
See their picks.
