Nexon said Tuesday it will rebrand the Nexon Computer Museum in Jeju as the Nexon Museum and reopen it on May 12.

The museum, originally established in 2013 in Jeju, was the first computer museum in Asia and has showcased the history of computing alongside the evolution of video games. Following the rebranding, the new Nexon Museum will be repositioned as a cultural hub that reinterprets the company’s three decades of gaming assets.

Unlike traditional technology-focused exhibits, the revamped space will center on players and present games as a form of culture, offering narrative-driven experiences.

The exhibition will feature more than 40 intellectual properties owned by Nexon, including flagship titles such as NEXUS : The Kingdom of the Winds, MapleStory, Dungeon & Fighter and Mabinogi, appealing to multiple generations of players.

Visitors will also be able to log in with their Nexon accounts to access personalized exhibition content, allowing them to view their gameplay history across different titles throughout the experience.

Nexon has also introduced a new logo to strengthen the museum’s brand identity. The design symbolizes the intersection of reality and virtual worlds, incorporating key elements of the company’s corporate identity while representing a “gateway” to new adventures.

Museum director Park Doo-san said the company aims to transform the venue into a must-visit destination for gamers by offering innovative content and immersive experiences.
