Mirae Asset Securities said on March 22 that it had been included for the 14th consecutive year in the “DJBIC (Dow Jones Best-in-Class) World Index,” a global sustainability management assessment index selected by S&P Global.

The DJBIC World Index, the new name for the former Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, is a leading global index based on the level of sustainability management. It evaluates environmental, social, and governance factors among the world’s top 2,500 companies by market capitalization and selects only the top 10% companies in each industry.

Mirae Asset Securities was recognized for performance in the environmental sector that meets global standards, including transparent information disclosure, climate strategy, and management of financed emissions. It also received strong evaluations in materiality assessment items including social-sector areas such as customer management and information security, as well as integrated risk management and global business performance.

In particular, Mirae Asset Securities achieved RE100 in 2025 by converting 100% of the electricity used across all of its business sites to renewable energy. To this end, it pursued various procurement methods and strategies, including the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates, virtual power purchase agreements, and Green Premium purchases, and these carbon emissions reduction efforts were reflected in the evaluation.

A Mirae Asset Securities official said, “Mirae Asset Securities is accelerating its transformation into a global investment platform company,” adding, “Through preemptive investment, global expansion, and digital transformation, we will secure new growth drivers while further solidifying our sustainability management framework and do our utmost to enhance customer and shareholder value.”

Meanwhile, Mirae Asset Securities was also awarded the top grade, “Leadership A,” for the second consecutive year in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project), a globally recognized climate crisis response assessment, in recognition of its climate risk management capabilities.
