Korean IT Services Firm Recognized as Sole National AX Partner
Gemini- and Vertex AI-Based Projects Drive Growth Across Key Industries
LG CNS announced on the 23rd that it has been selected as the Google Cloud Partner of the Year 2026 for Korea, underscoring its role as Google Cloud’s sole national partner for enterprise AI experience (AX) in the country. The award was presented at Google Cloud Next 2026, the company’s flagship annual conference for global cloud and AI customers and partners.
Google Cloud’s Partner of the Year awards are given to companies that deliver new business value for customers and achieve strong commercial results in collaboration with Google Cloud. LG CNS was recognized for its AI and cloud capabilities, business execution, contribution to customer outcomes and growth, becoming the only partner to represent Korea in this year’s lineup. The company has now won three Google Cloud partner awards, following dual wins in services and sales in 2023 and a services award in 2024.
Leveraging Google’s generative AI model Gemini and the enterprise AI platform Vertex AI, LG CNS has built hundreds of AI services across manufacturing, finance, retail, telecom and public sectors. The company is co-developing Gemini-based enterprise AI business models with Google Cloud to support large-scale AX transformations for clients in Asia-Pacific and the Americas. In healthcare and biotech, LG CNS is working on AI agents, genomic data analysis and protein-structure-based drug discovery projects.
To boost workplace productivity, LG CNS helps customers deploy solutions such as Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace, integrating AI into everyday workflows. The company’s partnership with Google Cloud began in 2022, when they signed a Digital Transformation Partnership (DTP) agreement at Google Cloud’s U.S. headquarters, the first of its kind for a Korean enterprise. Senior executives from both sides later expanded cooperation at Google Cloud Next 2023 and agreed in 2025 to jointly scale AX business across Asia-Pacific and the Americas.
LG CNS currently holds six Google Cloud competencies, including Gemini Enterprise, AI, data analytics and infrastructure, reflecting its technical and commercial strength on the platform. Gemini Enterprise certification is granted to partners capable of designing and deploying agentic AI services using the offering, and LG CNS was the first company in Asia to obtain Google Cloud AI certification in 2024. Kim Tae-hoon, head of the AI Cloud Business Unit at LG CNS, said the company will continue to act as a leading AX partner for customers in Asia-Pacific and the Americas, building on its close partnership with Google Cloud.
