Five children are brought to Korea for treatment with Samsung Medical Center
On April 28, KB Kookmin Bank, in cooperation with Samsung Medical Center, invited five Indonesian children with heart disease to Korea and provided them with surgery and medical support.
KB Kookmin Bank announced on April 28 that it had invited five Indonesian children with heart disease to Korea and provided them with surgery and medical support in cooperation with Samsung Medical Center.
This initiative was arranged as part of KB Kookmin Bank’s global social contribution activities. Based on the ‘Business Agreement for Treatment Support for Patients with Cardiac and Facial Deformities’ signed with Samsung Medical Center in 2023, KB Kookmin Bank is providing treatment opportunities to Indonesian children with heart disease.
On the 28th, officials from both institutions, including Park Seung-woo, President of Samsung Medical Center, and Seo Ki-won, Deputy President of KB Kookmin Bank’s Management Planning Group, personally visited the children who are recovering after overcoming their difficult surgeries. They delivered gifts and offered warm encouragement and support.
A KB Kookmin Bank official said, “We hope the children who have successfully completed their surgeries will move forward toward bigger dreams in good health.”
