Huawei Korea announced that it will officially launch in South Korea the limited-edition “HONMA x HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Pro,” created in collaboration with premium golf brand HONMA Golf.
HONMA Golf is a global premium golf brand that has introduced precision golf equipment based on craftsmanship cultivated over decades in Sakata, Japan. The collaboration is characterized by a harmony of tradition and innovation, bringing together HONMA’s long heritage and Huawei’s innovative wearable technology.
In addition to the “HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Pro,” the edition includes a package of essential rounding accessories such as golf balls, ball markers, and divot tools finished in gold color to maximize a luxurious feel, enhancing its collectible value for golf enthusiasts.
The HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Pro also features the refined design distinctive to a premium watch. Based on a combination of black and gold, it adopts sapphire glass and aerospace-grade titanium alloy materials. Through this, it has secured strong durability for rugged outdoor rounding environments while completing a stylish yet robust silhouette suited to business and everyday life.
In terms of functionality, it offers a more sophisticated rounding experience through Huawei’s advanced technology. Based on data from more than 17,000 golf courses worldwide, it supports professional golf-specific features that heighten immersion during rounds, including club recommendation, green slope visualization, and real-time shot distance analysis.
In particular, it is equipped with the upgraded “Sunflower Positioning System,” improving location accuracy by 20% compared with the previous version, making precise distance measurement and course checking possible even in complex terrain.
Its powerful battery performance, designed for long hours of play, is also a strength. It lasts up to 21 days on a single charge, minimizing the burden of charging. In addition, through Huawei’s “HUAWEI TruSense System,” it comprehensively provides advanced health-management functions such as heart rate monitoring and sleep analysis, offering systematic care for everyday life beyond the field.
A Huawei Korea official said, “This edition was created through the meeting of HONMA’s craftsmanship aimed at the best performance and Huawei’s innovative technology,” adding, “We expect this collaboration edition to offer domestic golfers a new dimension of rounding experience, going beyond a simple smartwatch to serve as a precise technological partner on the field.”
