Barricade removed from former Government office in Budapest
epaselect epa12959715 Prime Minister Peter Magyar (L) and Minister of Interior Gabor Posfai (R) dismantle the barricade surrounding the former Carmelite Monastery, which had previously housed the Prime Minister's Office, in the Castle District of Budapest, Hungary, 15 May 2026. The barrier was erected by the operational police at the entrance of the former Prime Minister?s Office in December 2020, and protestors have repeatedly attempted to remove it since then.
