Bio-based innovation company BIOFT Co., Ltd. (hereinafter BIOFT) announced that it has simultaneously obtained three certifications from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)—ISO 22716 (Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices), ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)—along with EFfCI-GMP (European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients Good Manufacturing Practice), a certification overseen by the European cosmetics ingredients industry.
With the acquisition of EFfCI-GMP, a critical requirement for entering the European market that enforces strict hygiene control across the entire process of ingredient manufacturing and distribution, BIOFT has secured a key gateway to Europe. At the same time, through ISO 22716—an internationally recognized guideline for cosmetic manufacturing and product release—the company has fulfilled essential quality requirements for global partnerships.
In addition, by obtaining ISO 9001, which represents excellence in overall product and service quality, and ISO 14001, which verifies environmentally responsible management and sustainable resource practices, BIOFT has further reinforced its ESG management foundation, encompassing both quality and environmental responsibility.
Notably, these certifications strongly support the operational capabilities of BIOFT’s proprietary DIVV Efficacy Center, one of the company’s key competitive advantages. The DIVV Efficacy Center is an integrated platform that conducts both in-vitro (cell-based) and in-vivo (clinical and human skin) efficacy evaluations in a one-stop system.
Building on these international standards and European manufacturing certifications, BIOFT plans to further enhance the precision and global credibility of research data generated at the DIVV Efficacy Center. Through this, the company aims to go beyond simple raw material supply by providing global clients with scientifically validated “data packages,” thereby maximizing synergy in business collaborations.
