A virtual K-pop boy band is set to enter Korea’s crowded music landscape with a World Cup-themed debut, betting on a high-energy rock sound and a sing-along hook to stand out.
Tessar — a three-member “virtual group” consisting of AI-generated members Xero, Kaze and Rai — is due to release its debut digital single “Alle Korea” at noon on Sunday across major streaming platforms, its agency Tank ENM said.
The track is positioned as a World Cup cheering song built on a hard-driving rock band arrangement, with an emphasis on an easily repeatable chorus designed for mass sing-alongs.
The agency described the song as carrying “explosive energy throughout,” framing it as a festival-style anthem meant to be enjoyed collectively.
Ahead of the release, the agency unveiled three concept photos of the group.
In one set, the members appear in leather styling against a backdrop of oversize speakers, staring directly into the camera with an intense stare characteristic of rock bands.
In another set of images, the three members appear relaxed and playful as they lean on one another.
AI-powered groups like Tessar remain relatively niche in the K-pop industry.
The group’s slogan is “Get Loud, Get Wind, Get Ready,” a phrase that Tank ENM said is intended to underscore its dynamic image and musical direction.
A teaser for Tessar’s music video will be released at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, ahead of the full track’s release on Sunday.
