▲ 합천 초계면 반딧불 전동차 지원/합천군
[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군 초계면은 4일 초계면사무소 주차장에서 전동 휠체어와 스쿠터 이용 어르신의 교통사고 예방을 위한 ‘반딧불 전동차 지원사업’을 시행했다.
이번 사업은 초계면 지역사회보장협의체가 경상남도 ‘읍면동 지역사회보장협의체 공모사업’에 선정돼 확보한 500만 원의 예산으로 추진됐다.
초계면 지역사회보장협의체는 전동차 이용자를 위한 야광안전조끼 220여 벌을 제작해 관내 각 마을을 순회하며 배부하고, 교통안전 교육과 캠페인을 병행했다.
야광안전조끼는 전동차 후면에 부착할 수 있도록 제작됐으며, 반사띠와 야광 색상을 적용해 야간 및 우천 시 시인성을 높였다. 메쉬 소재를 사용해 통기성을 확보하고, 물품 보관용 주머니와 합천군 상징 마크를 부착했다.
이날 행사에는 차복술 초계면장, 이근순 초계면 지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장, 곽상훈 동부파출소장 등이 참석해 안전조끼를 전달하고 교통안전 교육을 실시했다.
초계면은 사업 종료 후 참여 어르신을 대상으로 만족도 조사를 실시해 향후 정책 개선에 반영할 계획이다.
