[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군의 야간 체험형 호러축제 ‘2026 마스커 레이드’가 개막 이후 관람객 증가세를 이어가고 있다.

합천군은 지난 7월 31일 합천영상테마파크에서 개막한 고스트파크의 누적 관람객이 8월 9일 기준 1만9,571명으로 집계됐다고 10일 밝혔다. 지난해 같은 기간 9,301명과 비교하면 약 110% 증가한 수치다.

특히 주중 방문객 증가가 두드러졌다. 월요일부터 목요일까지 관람객은 전년 동기보다 약 172% 늘어나면서 주말에 집중됐던 방문 수요가 평일로 확대되는 양상을 보였다.

올해 행사는 ‘가면무도회’를 주제로 드라큘라 백작의 가면무도회를 배경으로 구성됐다. 관람객은 ‘헌터’가 돼 해부학 실험실, 살인상가, 망자의 감옥, 원혼귀옥 등 공포 체험형 어트랙션을 이용할 수 있다.

행사 전용 화폐인 ‘운석코인’을 활용한 미션과 이벤트도 운영된다. 가족 단위 방문객을 위한 합천행, 강시객잔, 도깨비 유치원, 드라큘라 저택 등 가족형 콘텐츠와 주제공연, 현장 이벤트, 특수분장 체험도 마련됐다.
