[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함양군이 상반기 수돗물 수질검사 결과 모든 항목이 먹는물 수질기준을 충족한 것으로 확인됐다고 밝혔다.

함양군은 24일 상수도통합관리센터에서 2026년 상반기 수돗물 수질평가위원회를 열고 원수와 수돗물 수질검사 결과를 공개했다.

군에 따르면 상반기 수질검사 결과 모든 항목이 법정 기준에 적합한 것으로 나타나 수돗물의 안전성이 확인됐다.

이날 회의에서는 수질 현황과 함께 상수도 운영 성과도 공유됐다. 함양군은 지난 3월 상수도 업무개선사례 발표회에서 환경부 장관상을 수상했으며, 일반수도사업 운영관리 실태평가에서 2022년부터 2025년까지 4년 연속 수상 실적을 기록했다.

또 3년 연속 최우수 지자체 선정과 노후상수관망 정비사업 사후관리 평가 우수 성과도 소개됐다.

위원들은 함양군 수돗물의 양호한 수질 상태와 상수도 운영 성과를 높이 평가하면서 지속적인 수질 관리와 안정적인 공급 체계 유지의 중요성을 강조했다.

함양군은 수질평가위원회를 통해 수렴된 의견을 향후 상수도 운영에 반영하고, 군민들에게 안전한 수돗물을 공급하기 위한 관리 체계를 지속적으로 강화할 계획이다.
