하동교육지원청, 통학버스 운영 개선 논의…노후 차량 교체 추진

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 하동교육지원청이 학생들의 안전한 통학환경 조성을 위해 노후 통학버스 교체와 운영 개선 방안 마련에 나섰다.

하동교육지원청은 지난 23일 청사 3층 다담실에서 ‘2026년 현장 맞춤형 통학버스 업무개선 TF 2차 협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협의회에는 위원 6명이 참석해 통학버스 배치와 운영 현황을 점검하고 학교 현장의 의견을 반영한 개선 방안을 논의했다.

주요 안건은 노후 통학버스 교체였다. 지원청은 노후 차량의 잦은 고장으로 발생하는 안전 문제와 유지관리 비용 증가를 줄이고 통학버스 운영 효율성을 높이는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

참석자들은 통학버스 유류 사용량과 정비 이력 등 운영 데이터를 분석해 차량 교체 필요성을 검토하고, 예산 확보 방안과 비상상황 대응 체계 구축 방안도 함께 논의했다.
