[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시는 지난 21일 지역 청년 일자리 활성화를 위한 ‘2026년 상반기 평택청년일자리협의체 간담회’를 개최했다.
평택청년일자리협의체는 시와 청년 일자리 관계기관, 대학 간 협력 체계를 구축해 정책 실효성을 높이고자 지난 4월 출범했다. 협의체에는 평택시를 포함해 평택고용센터, 평택상공회의소, 평택산업단지관리공단, 경기도경제과학진흥원 평택출장소, 평택산업진흥원 등 관계기관과 한경국립대학교, 평택대학교, 국제대학교 등 관내 대학이 참여한다.
간담회에서는 협의체 운영 방향을 정립하고 기관별 사업 현황을 공유했다. 협의체는 연 2회 정기 간담회와 수시 회의를 통해 상반기에는 협력 방안을 논의하고 하반기에는 성과 공유 및 내년도 사업 발굴을 추진하기로 뜻을 모았다.
이번 간담회는 지자체와 일자리 유관기관, 대학이 참여하는 거버넌스를 통해 청년 고용 문제에 공조 체계를 다졌다는 점에서 의미가 있다.
