【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 27일, 한국교원대학교, 국립한국교통대학교, 충북도립대학교와 예술교육 협력을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 충북교육청의 핵심 예술 정책인 <나도 예술가>의 안정적인 추진과 지역 기반 예술교육 생태계 조성을 위해 마련됐다.
충북교육청은 지난 2월과 3월에 이어 지역 대학과의 협력 체계를 확대하며 예술교육 활성화에 속도를 내고 있다.
<나도 예술가>는 ‘일상이 무대가 되는 충북 예술교육’을 비전으로, 학생 한 명 한명이 단순한 관람자를 넘어 예술적 창작자이자 비평가로 성장하도록 지원하는 정책이다.
학교 안팎은 물론 온라인 플랫폼까지 연계한 입체적 예술교육 체계를 바탕으로 학생의 예술적 경험을 넓혀가고 있다.
이번 협약에 따라 각 기관은 ▲지역 예술자원 공유 ▲지역 특색을 반영한 예술교육 콘텐츠 개발 및 활용 ▲공연·전시 등 예술행사 참여와 홍보 ▲공연장·전시장·연습실 등 대학 내 예술교육 인프라 공유 등 다양한 분야에서 협력하기로 했다.
특히 이번 협약은 지역 대학의 인적·물적 자원을 학교 예술교육과 연계해 학생들에게 보다 폭넓은 문화예술 경험을 제공하고, 지역과 학교가 함께 성장하는 예술교육 기반을 마련하는 데 의미가 있다.
윤건영 교육감은 “인공지능 시대일수록 감성·상상력·창의성을 키우는 예술교육의 역할이 더욱 중요하다.”라며, “지역 대학과의 협력을 통해 학생들이 예술을 통해 자신을 표현하고 타인을 이해하는 경험을 넓혀갈 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다.”라고 말했다.
