【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 27일, 충북온라인학교에서 <서·논술형 평가 인공지능(AI) 자동채점시스템> 도입을 위한 소통간담회를 열고 제도 도입 방향을 논의했다.
<서·논술형 평가 인공지능 자동채점시스템>은 학생이 작성한 서술형·논술형 문항의 채점을 지원하는 평가 도구로, 교사가 입력한 채점기준표를 기반으로 인공지능이 1차 채점하고 이후 교사의 검토를 거쳐 최종 점수를 확정하는 방식이다.
이날 간담회에는 윤건영 교육감을 비롯해 수석교사, 초·중등 학생평가 현장지원단 등 27명이 참석했으며, ▲서·논술형 평가 확대 방안 ▲자동채점시스템의 기능 ▲교사 전문성 향상 방안 등을 중심으로 현장 교사들의 의견을 수렴했다.
교사들은 인공지능을 활용하더라도 교사의 전문적 판단에 따른 최종 검토 과정이 필요하다는 의견을 제시했다.
또한 채점 결과를 정확성, 논리성, 표현력 등 요소별로 제시해 학생 피드백의 효과를 높일 필요가 있다는 제안이 이어졌다.
윤건영 교육감은 “서·논술형 평가는 학생의 사고력과 문제 해결력, 표현력을 종합적으로 살필 수 있는 중요한 평가 방식”이라며, “인공지능 자동채점시스템을 교사의 전문적 판단을 보완하는 도구로 활용해 평가 부담을 줄이고, 학생 한 명 한 명의 배움을 보다 정교하게 살필 수 있도록 지원하겠다.”라고 말했다.
충북교육청은 간담회 결과를 바탕으로 교원 역량 강화 연수 등 현장 지원 방안을 마련하고 인공지능 자동채점시스템 도입을 구체화할 계획이다.
