【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주대학교는 대학혁신지원사업의 일환으로 학생들의 자기주도적 학습 능력과 지역사회 문제 해결 역량을 높이기 위해 2026학년도 1학기 공유협력형 C-PBL 프로그램 경진대회를 개최했다.
이번 경진대회는 지역 유관기관과 지자체, 산업체 등과 긴밀히 협력해 지역사회의 다양한 현안을 발굴하고 창의적인 해결 방안을 제시하는 프로젝트 성과를 공유하기 위해 마련됐다. 참여 학생들은 실제 현장에서 마주할 수 있는 실무 문제를 해결하는 과정을 통해 협업 능력과 실천적 역량을 길렀으며, 이번 대회에는 총 12개 팀이 참가해 열띤 경합을 벌였다.
대회 결과 최우수상의 영예는 충북의 역사와 문화유산을 활용한 그림책 '강은 기억한단다'를 기획·제작하고 실물 도서 20권을 발간한 문헌정보학과 기억이음 팀에 돌아갔다. 이들은 미호강을 화자로 설정해 청주의 대표 역사·문화유산을 어린이 눈높이에 맞는 판타지 형식으로 재구성했으며 소로리 볍씨, 직지, 3·1운동 등 지역의 역사적 가치를 하나의 이야기로 풀어내 심사위원들의 높은 평가를 받았다.
이어 우수상은 유네스코 국제기록유산센터와 협력해 세계기록유산 홍보 카드뉴스와 릴스 영상 등을 제작한 영어영문학과 이음 팀과 무심천 일대의 야간 문화 콘텐츠 부족 문제를 해결하고자 서문교 미디어파사드 프로젝트를 수행한 디지털미디어디자인학과 팀이 각각 차지했다. 이 밖에도 붕해C정 팀, 노버스 팀, 어디가 홈즈 팀이 창의적인 아이디어를 인정받아 장려상을 수상했다.

Cheongju University Hosts ‘Shared Collaborative C-PBL Competition’ to Solve Local Community Problems
As part of the University Innovation Support Project, Cheongju University held the Shared Collaborative C-PBL Program Competition for the first semester of the 2026 academic year to enhance students’ self-directed learning abilities and their capacity to solve local community problems.
This competition was organized to share project achievements that involved close cooperation with local related organizations, local governments, and industries to identify various pending issues in the community and present creative solutions. Participating students cultivated collaboration skills and practical competencies through the process of solving real-world problems they might encounter in the field. A total of 12 teams participated in the competition, engaging in fierce competition.
As a result of the competition, the Grand Prize was awarded to the "Gieo-i-eum" team from the Department of Library and Information Science, which planned and produced the picture book "The River Remembers," utilizing the history and cultural heritage of Chungbuk, and published 20 physical copies of the book. Setting the Mihogang River as the narrator, these students reconstructed Cheongju’s representative historical and cultural heritage in a fantasy format tailored to children's perspectives. They received high praise from the judges for weaving the region's historical values—such as the Sorori rice seeds, Jikji, and the March 1st Movement—into a single narrative.
Following this, the Excellence Award was presented to the "Ieum" team from the Department of English Language and Literature, who produced promotional card news and reels videos for World Memory of the World in collaboration with the UNESCO International Centre for Memory of the World; and the "Seomun Bridge Media Facade" team from the Department of Digital Media Design, who carried out the Seomun Bridge Media Facade Project to address the lack of nighttime cultural content in the Musimcheon area. Additionally, the "Bunghae C-Jeong" team, "Novus" team, and "Eodiga Holmes" team received Encouragement Awards for their creative ideas.
