[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 창녕군이 비봉리패총의 발굴 역사와 고고학적 가치를 조명하는 특별전 ‘비봉리패총, 땅속의 시간을 꺼내다’를 개최한다.
이번 특별전은 오는 19일부터 2027년 3월 17일까지 창녕비봉리패총전시관 상설전시실에서 진행되며, 발굴 현장의 기록과 장비, 체험 콘텐츠를 활용해 고고학 조사 과정을 생생하게 소개한다.
전시에서는 발굴 당시 촬영된 현장 사진 40여 점과 발굴 장비, 고고학자의 작업 과정 등을 선보이며, 관람객이 직접 발굴 현장 분위기를 체험할 수 있는 공간도 함께 마련된다.
특히 패총이 발견되고 조사되는 과정을 단계별로 구성해 관람객들이 고고학 발굴의 의미와 조사 절차를 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 했다.
창녕군은 이번 전시를 통해 지역 대표 문화유산인 비봉리패총에 대한 관심을 높이고, 지역 문화유산 보존의 중요성을 알린다는 계획이다.
군 관계자는 “관람객들이 전시를 통해 비봉리패총의 역사적 가치와 발굴의 의미를 흥미롭게 체험하길 기대한다”고 말했다.
전시는 무료로 운영되며 관람 시간은 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지다. 매주 월요일은 휴관한다.
