진천군은 진천군청소년수련관에서 관내 장애 청소년들을 대상으로 한 '영차-바리스타' 진로 체험 프로그램을 진행했다. 이번 행사는 학교 밖 청소년들로 구성된 영차-바리스타 동아리 회원들이 직접 기획하고 참여한 재능기부형 사회참여 봉사활동으로 추진됐다.
이날 동아리 회원들은 관내 중학교 특수반 학생들을 1 대 1로 밀착 지원하며 바리스타 직업 체험 활동을 도왔다. 참가 학생들은 실제 카페 현장에서 쓰이는 전문 커피머신을 조작해 보고 여러 음료 메뉴를 직접 제작하며 바리스타라는 직업의 특성을 다각도로 이해하는 시간을 가졌다.
특히 이번 체험은 장애 청소년의 개별 특성과 눈높이에 맞춰 세심하고 안전하게 진행되어 참가 학생들과 현장 관계자들로부터 높은 호응을 얻었다.
