【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군이 환경 관리 역량이 부족해 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 내 영세 환경오염물질 배출업소를 대상으로 맞춤형 기술지원에 나선다.
진천군은 오는 6월 1일 환경기술 역량이 부족한 영세 환경오염물질 배출업소 6개소를 대상으로 환경기술지원을 실시한다고 밝혔다.
이번 기술지원은 일방적인 단속이나 규제에서 벗어나, 실무 경력 10년 이상의 민간 환경기술인과 담당 공무원이 합동으로 참여해 사업장의 환경오염 방지시설 운영 실태를 면밀히 점검하고 실질적인 개선방안을 제시하는 방식으로 진행된다.
주요 지원 분야는 대기·폐수·악취 등 환경오염물질 배출시설과 방지시설에 대한 정밀 진단이다. 이와 함께 방지시설의 적정한 운영 방법 안내, 노후시설 개선방안 제시, 관련 환경 법령 이행 지도, 자율점검 참여 안내 등 영세 사업장에 실질적으로 필요한 전반적인 맞춤형 컨설팅이 이루어진다.
특히 군은 현장 진단에 그치지 않고 기술지원 결과보고서를 해당 사업장에 세부적으로 제공함으로써, 영세업체들이 환경오염물질 배출시설과 방지시설을 스스로 관리하고 보완할 수 있도록 자율적인 개선을 유도할 방침이다.
