증평군은 오는 8월 13일 오후 7시 증평문화회관에서 지역 출신 독립운동가 연병환 선생 일가의 삶과 헌신을 다룬 창작 음악극 '나의 자리, 나의 노래'를 무료로 선보인다.
이번 무대는 충북문화재단이 추진하는 2026 공연장 예비상주단체 육성지원사업의 일환으로 기획됐으며, 지역 전문 문화예술단체인 링크아트가 제작을 전담했다. 작품은 나라를 위해 희생한 연병환 선생 가문의 애국정신과 가슴 아픈 희생사를 음악과 연극의 형태로 정교하게 결합하여 지역의 소중한 인물과 역사를 문화예술 콘텐츠로 승화시켰다는 평가를 받는다.
