(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전라남도가 이미 조성을 마친 청년마을의 자립 기반을 강화하고, 청년들의 지역 정착과 창업·일자리 창출로 이어지는 지속 가능한 생태계 조성에 나선다.
전남도는 청년마을의 안정적인 운영을 돕기 위한 ‘청년 자립마을 활성화 지원 사업’ 대상지 5개소를 공개 모집한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 행정안전부형(7개소) 및 전남형(17개소)을 포함해 도내에 조성을 완료한 총 24개 청년마을을 대상으로 올해 처음 추진되는 사업이다. ‘청년마을 만들기 사업’이 종료된 이후에도 청년들이 마을을 떠나지 않고 안정적으로 자립할 수 있도록 사후 관리 차원에서 마련됐다.
지원을 희망하는 청년마을은 오는 29일까지 해당 시·군 청년 담당 부서에 신청서를 제출해야 한다. 전남도는 기존 청년마을 중 창업 가능성과 자립 기반 형성 잠재력이 높은 5개소를 선정해 운영 현황과 자립 수준에 맞춘 맞춤형 지원을 펼칠 계획이다. 최종 선정된 청년마을에는 개소당 최대 5,000만 원의 사업비가 지원된다.
