도교육청은 18일 여수에서 ‘2026년도 학원업무담당자 및 학원연합회 협의회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협의회는 학원 현장과 교육지원청 간의 긴밀한 소통 체계를 구축하고, 현장의 생생한 목소리를 정책에 반영하기 위해 마련됐다. 이 자리에는 전남도내 22개 교육지원청의 학원업무 담당자와 한국학원총연합회 전라남도지회 및 시·군 분회장 등 관계자 90여 명이 참석해 뜨거운 관심을 보였다.
이날 회의에서 참석자들은 지난해 협의회에서 제안된 건의 사항의 처리 결과를 공유하는 것을 시작으로, ▲학원 행정업무 개선 ▲효율적인 민원 대응 방안 ▲학원 안전관리 협조체계 구축 등 주요 현안을 심도 있게 논의했다.
특히 학원의 자율적이고 투명한 운영 풍토를 조성하기 위한 ‘학원자율정화위원회 운영 활성화 방안’이 주요 안건으로 다뤄졌으며, 이를 활성화하기 위한 현장의 다양한 아이디어와 건의사항이 쏟아졌다.
전남교육청은 이번 협의회에서 수렴된 현장의 의견을 향후 교육 정책에 적극적으로 검토·반영하는 한편, 교육지원청과 학원연합회 간의 상생 협력 체계를 더욱 공고히 다져나갈 방침이다.
