충북 청주시 소재 대화건설은 지역 저소득 가구와 취약계층을 위해 성금 200만 원을 옥천군에 전달했다. 이번 성금은 충북사회복지공동모금회를 통해 관내 복지 사각지대 해소에 사용될 예정이다.
성금을 기탁한 이화련 대표는 옥천군 명예군민이자 전 충청북도새마을회장을 지낸 인물로, 지역 발전에 앞장서 왔다. 현재는 타 지역에 거주 중이지만 명예군민으로서 옥천에 대한 애정을 이어오며 나눔을 실천했다. 이 대표는 작은 정성이지만 지역의 어려운 이웃들에게 힘이 되길 바라며 앞으로도 나눔 활동을 지속하겠다고 전했다.
