행정복지센터 내에 설치된 세탁기와 건조기를 활용해 대상자가 신청하면 세탁 및 건조 후 직접 수거할 수 있도록 운영된다. 신장1동 지역사회보장협의체는 기초생활수급 독거노인과 장애인 가구 등을 대상으로 월 10가구, 연간 120가구에 서비스를 지원해 취약계층의 경제적 부담을 완화하고 쾌적한 생활환경 조성에 기여할 계획이다.
