영동군은 오는 8월 2일부터 8월 8일까지 6박 7일간 영동국악체험촌에서 '2026 청소년 국악 아카데미'를 개최하고 차세대 국악 인재 양성을 위한 전문 교육 프로그램을 운영한다. 이번 프로그램은 전공 분야별 교육 기회가 상대적으로 부족했던 지역 학생들에게 다채로운 국악 장르를 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고, 개인 실기 위주의 학습 환경에서 벗어나 폭넓은 예술적 소양을 함양할 수 있도록 기획됐다.
앞서 영동군과 전통공연예술진흥재단은 지난 15일 미래세대 전통예술 인재 육성을 위한 업무협약을 체결하고 지속적인 교류와 협력을 약속했다. 양 기관의 협력으로 준비된 이번 아카데미는 공연장, 교육실, 숙박시설 등을 완비한 영동국악체험촌에서 진행되어 교육과 생활이 일체화된 집중도 높은 환경을 제공한다.
