▲ 양산시 상북 로컬푸드 직매장 개장
[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 상북면 석계리 로컬푸드 직매장을 정식 개장하고 지역 농산물 유통과 소비를 연결하는 거점 운영에 들어갔다.
양산시는 10일 상북 로컬푸드 직매장에서 개장식을 열고 본격적인 운영을 시작했다. 직매장은 지난달 10일 임시 개장한 이후 운영체계와 상품 공급, 이용 환경 등을 점검하는 과정을 거쳐 이날 공식 개장했다.
개장식에는 나동연 양산시장을 비롯해 도·시의원, 출하 농가, 지역 주민, 운영 관계자 등 100여 명이 참석해 개장 선언과 시설 관람 등을 진행했다.
상북 로컬푸드 직매장은 지역 농업인이 생산한 농산물 판매장과 함께 정육, 반찬, 카페·베이커리 등을 갖춘 복합 먹거리 공간으로 조성됐다. 시민들은 다양한 지역 먹거리를 한 곳에서 이용할 수 있고, 출하 농가는 안정적인 판매처를 확보할 수 있게 됐다.
운영은 양산시 지역활성화지원센터가 맡아 출하 농가 관리와 품질관리, 매장 운영을 담당한다. 시는 이를 지역 농산물의 안정적인 유통과 소비 확대를 위한 거점으로 활용할 계획이다.
양산시는 앞서 2024년 5월 개장한 물금 로컬푸드 직매장이 현재까지 누적 매출 55억 원, 회원 7,833명, 참여 농가 501곳, 판매 품목 1,000여 종을 기록하는 등 성과를 거뒀다고 밝혔다. 시는 상북 직매장도 지역 먹거리 소비를 확대하는 생활밀착형 유통공간으로 육성한다는 방침이다.
