시흥시, '2026 시흥 올해의 책' 선포식 성황리 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=시흥 이현준기자] 시흥시는 지난 25일 중앙도서관에서 2026 시흥 올해의 책 선포식을 개최했다.

이번 행사는 시민 참여로 선정된 도서를 홍보하고 소통하는 독서 문화를 조성하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사에는 올해의 책으로 선정된 모두의 수영장의 신현경 작가가 참석하여 북토크를 진행했으며 100여 명의 시민이 참여해 성황을 이뤘다.

공식 선포를 시작으로 범시민 독서운동의 출발을 알리는 독서 릴레이 도서 전달식이 열렸으며 작가 강연과 질의응답을 통해 아이들과 소통하는 시간을 가졌다. 특히 올해 처음 도입된 100인의 시민선정단이 직접 후보 도서를 읽고 토론하며 선정 과정에 참여해 행사의 의미를 더했다.
