Seowon University announced that it won a total of 17 awards, including the Commissioner of the National Tax Service Award, as well as top awards, excellence awards, and special awards, at the "32nd National Computerized Accounting Competition" recently held at Kyungnam University.

Jointly organized by the Korea Association of Computerized Accounting Education and Kyungnam University and sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and ICT, and the National Tax Service, this competition saw 764 participants—including high school students, university students, and the general public—compete in computerized accounting and practical tax skills.

In this competition, the Commissioner of the National Tax Service Award, the highest honor in the university division, was won by Lee Kyung-min in the Level 1 Computerized Tax Accounting category and Song Na-young in the Level 2 Computerized Tax Accounting category. The top prize, the Gyeongnam National University President's Award, was presented to students Lee Kyung-min (Tax Accounting Practice Level 1) and Ko Yoon-jae (Computerized Tax Accounting Level 1), while the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Council Chairman's Award went to student Park Ji-min. Yoo Ji-yeon, Dean of the School of Business Administration, who mentored the students, enjoyed the honor of receiving the "Teacher Award" for the fourth consecutive year in recognition of her systematic guidance and achievements.

Song Na-young, who won both the Commissioner of the National Tax Service Award and the Excellence Award, stated that gaining confidence through repeated analysis of past exam questions and practical practice led to this positive result. She expressed her aspiration to use this award as an opportunity to grow into a recognized accounting expert in the field. Yoo Ji-yeon, Dean of the School of Business Administration, stated that this achievement is the result of students developing practical competencies by repeatedly studying the theories learned in regular courses through extracurricular special lectures and practical training. She emphasized that the school will continue to foster talent capable of demonstrating competitiveness immediately upon graduation by linking certification education with field training.

Meanwhile, Seowon University’s School of Business Administration is producing specialized talent in each field by operating step-by-step advanced education, AI-based practical training, and field-tailored programs based on three majors: Business Administration, Accounting, and International Trade.
