【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은교육지원청이 소규모 분교장의 적정규모학교 육성을 통해 학생들에게 더 나은 교육환경을 제공하고자 판동초등학교 송죽분교장과 본교의 통폐합을 추진한다.
보은교육지원청은 현재 2학급 5명의 학생이 재학 중인 판동초등학교 송죽분교장을 오는 2027년 3월 1일 자로 판동초등학교 본교와 통합하기로 결정했다고 밝혔다. 이번 통폐합은 열악해진 교육 여건을 개선하고 다채로운 학습 환경을 마련하기 위해 송죽분교장이 직접 적정규모학교 육성 계획서를 제출하고 설명회를 요청함에 따라 이루어졌다.
설명회에 이어진 학부모 대상 설문 투표 결과, 전체 3가구 중 2가구가 찬성(67%)함에 따라 2027년 3월 통폐합 추진 절차가 본격적으로 진행된다.
