더불어민주당은 12일 오후 전남 강진군 제2실내체육관에서 ‘제9회 전국동시지방선거 전남·광주·전북 공천자대회’를 열고 필승의 의지를 다졌다고 밝혔다.
이날 현장에는 정청래 당대표 겸 상임공동선대위원장을 비롯해 이언주·이성윤·황명선 최고위원 등 당 지도부가 총출동해 호남의 중요성을 강조했다. 지역에서는 김원이 전남도당위원장과 양부남 광주시당위원장을 포함한 호남권 시·도당 관계자, 이번 선거에 출격하는 후보자 및 당직자 등 1,000여 명이 집결해 성황을 이뤘다.
