[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 우리나라 최초 ‘맞춤형 신곡 경연’ 방식의 스타 발굴 무대인 ‘제14회 삼천포아가씨가요제 2026 전국 왕중왕전’이 5월 예선을 시작으로 4개월간의 대장정에 들어간다.
사천시 후원으로 열리는 이번 가요제는 5월 8일부터 전국 가요제 대상 수상자와 TV 오디션 준결선 이상 진출자를 대상으로 본선 진출자 TOP7을 선발한다.
이어 6월에는 이들 참가자를 위한 맞춤형 창작곡을 전국 작사·작곡가 공모로 제작하는 방식이 특징이다.
본선은 8월 29일 삼천포대교 해상무대에서 개최되며, 대중음악 평론가 임진모와 작곡가 박현진 등 전문가 심사와 함께 유튜브 생중계 인기투표를 병행해 왕중왕과 최고인기가수를 선정한다.
왕중왕에게는 상금 1천만 원과 트로피가 주어지며, 참가자 전원에게는 신곡 제공과 출연료, 기념패 등이 지급된다. 본선 진출 가수와 창작자에게도 각각 100만 원의 지원금이 주어진다.
무대에는 박서진, 최윤하, 김성범 등 가요제 출신 가수와 일본 가수 아즈마 아키가 참여해 축하공연을 펼친다. 특히 ‘삼천포아가씨’ 발표 60주년을 맞아 원곡 창작자의 2세들이 제작한 신곡 ‘삼천포아가씨2’가 처음 공개된다.
이와 함께 1960~80년대 지역 가요 30곡을 담은 ‘고향노래 음반’도 발표되며, 향후 이탈리아 산레모가요제를 모델로 한 국제 가요제로의 확대도 추진된다.

The ‘14th Samcheonpo Miss Song Festival 2026 National King of Kings Competition,’ a star-discovery stage featuring Korea’s first ‘customized new song competition,’ is set to begin a four-month journey starting with preliminary rounds in May.
Sponsored by Sacheon City, this festival will select the Top 7 finalists starting May 8, targeting winners of national song festival grand prizes and those who have advanced to the semi-finals or higher in TV auditions.
A key feature of the event is the production of customized original songs for these participants in June through a nationwide open call for lyricists and composers. The finals will be held on August 29 at the Samcheonpo Bridge Marine Stage. The King of Kings and the Most Popular Singer will be selected through a combination of expert judging—including pop music critic Lim Jin-mo and composer Park Hyun-jin—and a live YouTube popularity vote.
