군용 위성통신 안테나 전문 기업 케이앤에스아이앤씨(대표 진병욱)가 한국거래소 코스닥시장본부로부터 상장예비심사 승인을 받으며 기업공개(IPO) 절차에 본격 돌입한다.
케이앤에스아이앤씨는 지난 7일 코스닥 상장을 위한 예비심사를 통과했으며, 향후 증권신고서 제출 등 후속 절차를 거쳐 상장 작업을 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 상장 주관사는 IBK투자증권이다.
2001년 설립된 케이앤에스아이앤씨는 군용·해상용 위성통신 안테나(VSAT) 제조 및 유통 전문기업이다. 국방 통신 분야에서 안정성과 신뢰성이 중요한 만큼 높은 기술 장벽이 요구되는 시장에서 경쟁력을 확보해왔다. 현재 해군 차세대 해상작전위성통신체계(MOSCOS)-II 사업에 위성통신 안테나를 독점 공급하고 있으며, 700m 이상 심해 환경에서도 안정적인 성능을 구현하는 잠수함용 위성통신 안테나 국산화에도 성공했다. 이를 통해 국내 방산 시장 내 기술 레퍼런스를 구축했다는 평가를 받고 있다.

저궤도 위성통신 대응… 차세대 평판 안테나 개발
군·해상용 위성통신 안테나는 극한 환경에서도 안정적인 통신 품질을 유지해야 하는 만큼 높은 기술 난이도와 긴 검증 기간이 요구된다. 이 때문에 신규 진입 장벽이 높고, 공급망 진입 이후에는 장기 수주로 이어질 가능성이 큰 시장으로 꼽힌다.
케이앤에스아이앤씨는 기존 군 통신 분야 기술력을 바탕으로 최근 저궤도(LEO) 위성통신 시장 확대에 대응하기 위한 차세대 평판 안테나(ESA) 개발도 추진 중이다.

Development of next-generation flat-panel antennas to support low-orbit satellite communication
Military and maritime satellite communication antennas require high technical difficulty and long verification periods to maintain stable communication quality even in extreme environments. Consequently, they are considered a market with high barriers to entry for new companies and significant potential for securing long-term orders once the supply chain is established.
Based on its existing technological capabilities in the military communications sector, K&S INC is also pursuing the development of next-generation flat-panel antennas (ESA) to respond to the recent expansion of the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communications market.

Ｋ＆Ｓアイアン氏は７日、コスダック上場のための予備審査を通過し、今後証券申告書提出など後続手続きを経て上場作業を推進する計画だと明らかにした。上場主管社はIBK投資証券だ。
