이날 진천군 관계자들은 기능전환의 추진 배경 및 행정 절차를 비롯해 보건진료전담공무원 배치 및 운영 체계, 진료 및 만성질환 관리 업무, 시설물 운용 현황 등을 종합적으로 공유받았다. 이어 지역 여건에 부합하는 안정적 보건의료 서비스 제공 방안을 두고 깊이 있는 의견을 교환했다.
괴산군은 공중보건의 수급 차질로 인한 농촌 지역 진료 공백을 최소화하고 주민들에게 지속적인 의료 서비스를 제공하고자 지난달 19일 기존 송면보건지소를 송면보건진료소로 재편해 운영에 들어갔다.
