광주은행은 지난달 30일, 남구 시설공단과 ‘금고업무 취급 약정’을 체결하고 공단의 주거래은행으로서 본격적인 업무를 수행한다고 밝혔다.
이번 약정에 따라 광주은행은 2026년 5월 1일부터 2028년 4월 30일까지 2년간 남구 시설공단의 △각종 수입금 수납 및 보관 △경비 지급 △현금 수납·지급 △일상경비 출납 등 금고업무 전반을 담당한다.
남구 시설공단은 지역 내 공공시설을 효율적으로 관리하고 주민 편익을 증진하기 위해 운영되는 지방공기업이다. 광주은행은 그동안 쌓아온 공공기관 금고 운영 노하우를 바탕으로 공단 자금 운용의 안정성과 업무 편의성을 높이는 데 주력할 계획이다.
