광양경자청은 오는 21일부터 7월 3일까지 13일간 폴란드, 독일, 스위스 등 유럽 3개국을 방문하여 요트 건조, 해상풍력 플랜트, 의료기기 제조업 분야의 투자유치 활동을 전개한다고 밝혔다.
이번 유럽 방문의 핵심 일정은 폴란드에서의 투자유치 네트워크 구축이다. 광양경자청은 22일 폴란드 포메라니아주(州) 소재 '포메라니안 개발청(Pomeranian Development Agency. Co.)'과 투자유치 업무 협력 협약을 체결한다.
이어 다음 날인 23일에는 '포메라니아 특별경제구역청(Pomerania Special Economic Zone Co., Ltd.)'과도 업무 협력 협약을 맺고, 투자의향이 있는 현지 외국기업을 발굴하기 위한 유기적인 협조 체계를 다질 계획이다.
