[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시가 보건복지부 소아 야간·휴일 진료기관인 달빛어린이병원 2곳을 재지정하고 주 7일 상시 진료체계를 운영한다.
거제시는 거제아동병원과 서울아동병원이 달빛어린이병원으로 재지정돼 지난 5월 31일부터 연합운영에 들어갔다고 밝혔다.
달빛어린이병원은 소아 경증환자가 평일 야간이나 휴일에 응급실 대신 병원 외래진료를 받을 수 있도록 운영되는 제도다.
재지정된 거제아동병원은 평일 오후 11시까지, 토·일요일과 공휴일에는 오후 6시까지 진료하며, 서울아동병원은 주 7일 자정까지 운영한다.
이번 재지정으로 거제시는 보건복지부 지정 달빛어린이병원 2곳을 지속 운영하게 됐으며, 두 의료기관의 연합운영을 통해 야간·휴일 소아 진료 공백을 최소화할 수 있게 됐다.
시는 진료 후 처방약 조제를 지원하기 위해 다사랑온누리약국, 고현서울약국, 거제프라자약국, 행복플러스약국, 친절약국, 따뜻한약국 등 6곳을 협력약국으로 지정해 운영한다.
거제시는 이번 재지정과 연합운영을 통해 소아 필수의료 기반을 유지하고, 야간·휴일 진료 접근성을 높여 시민들의 의료 이용 편의를 강화할 계획이다.
