[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시는 해양수산부 주관 ‘2026년 어촌체험휴양마을 고도화사업’ 공모에 계도어촌체험휴양마을이 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
이번 선정은 지난해 산달어촌체험휴양마을에 이어 2년 연속 공모 선정으로, 전국 18개 신청 마을 가운데 최종 4개 마을에 포함됐다.
어촌체험휴양마을 고도화사업은 체험시설과 숙박시설 개선을 통해 특화형 어촌관광 기반을 조성하는 사업이다. 특히 관광객 수요를 반영해 숙박 중심 인프라 개선에 중점을 두고 추진된다.
계도마을에는 앞으로 2년간 국비와 지방비를 포함해 총 8억 원의 사업비가 투입된다. 거제시는 해수부 공동숙박 브랜드인 ‘스테이바다70’을 적용해 숙박시설과 공유주방 리모델링, 무인카페 조성 등을 추진할 계획이다.
거제시는 이번 사업을 통해 어촌관광 인프라를 개선하고 지역경제 활성화와 어촌 주민 삶의 질 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.

Geoje City announced that Gyedo Fishing Village Experience & Recreation Village was finally selected for the ‘2026 Advanced Fishing Village Experience & Recreation Village Project’ competition organized by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.
This selection marks the second consecutive year of selection, following Sandal Fishing Village Experience & Recreation Village last year, and the village was included among the final four villages selected out of 18 applicants nationwide.
The Advanced Fishing Village Experience & Recreation Village Project is designed to establish a foundation for specialized fishing village tourism by improving experience facilities and accommodation facilities. In particular, it focuses on improving accommodation-centered infrastructure to reflect tourist demand.
Over the next two years, a total of 800 million won in project funds will be invested in Gyedo Village, including both national and local government funds.
