Woori Bank began distributing its Nol World Card, a prepaid card aimed at foreign visitors, at Incheon International Airport on Wednesday as the lender seeks to expand its foreign customer base.

The card, launched on April 23 in partnership with travel platform Nol Universe and fintech firm Kona I, allows users to exchange foreign currency and make payments upon receiving the card.

Cardholders are eligible for benefits at select merchants, including health and beauty chain Olive Young, fashion platform Musinsa and convenience store chain GS25.

The on-site distribution of the card marks the formal launch of the bank’s tourism-finance services for foreign visitors, said Woori Bank. It vowed to expand partnerships and enhance the card’s functions to improve financial convenience and the overall travel experience for overseas tourists visiting Korea.
