Veteran K-pop act Big Bang announced that it will recruit a new batch of its official fan club “V.I.P” for the first time in 11 years ahead of its 20th anniversary comeback, according to YG Entertainment on Saturday.

Big Bang unveiled a teaser poster for the sixth recruitment period of V.I.P through its official social media channels, marking the first official fan club reopening since the fifth in 2015.

The recruitment will be conducted through the fan community platform Bstage.

“We prepared the official fan club recruitment to connect more closely with fans who have supported Big Bang for a long time,” YG Entertainment said. “We hope that you stay tuned for the new journey that the artists and V.I.P will create together for the 20th anniversary.”

Big Bang announced during its second performance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, California, on April 19 that it will release a new album and begin a world tour in August.

During its second Coachella set, the group performed its popular songs, including “Bang Bang Bang” (2016), “Fantastic Baby” (2012), “Sober” (2015), “Stupid Liar” (2013) and “Loser” (2015), along with classic hits such as “Haru Haru” (2008) and “Lies” (2008).
