SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung participated in Nvidia’s ‘GTC (GPU Technology Conference) 2026,’ which opened in San Jose, California, U.S., on March 16 (local time), demonstrating their semiconductor alliance with Nvidia.

Nvidia GTC is a global artificial intelligence (AI) conference where major companies and developers from around the world participate to share the latest technologies and industry directions in AI and accelerated computing.

SK hynix plans to explore cooperation directions aligned with the latest trends in the global AI industry during GTC 2026. Key executives, including SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won and SK hynix CEO Kwak Noh-jung, will meet with global big tech companies to share insights on AI technology advancement and infrastructure structural changes, and discuss mid-to-long-term cooperation measures.

SK hynix stated, “We have equipped Nvidia’s AI infrastructure with memory products capable of minimizing data bottlenecks and maximizing performance in AI training and inference,” adding, “Through this event, we will showcase our competitiveness in memory technology, the core infrastructure (Infra) of the AI era, based on our partnership with Nvidia.” SK hynix is organizing its exhibition space under the theme of ‘Spotlight on AI Memory’ at this event to introduce AI memory technologies and solutions.

The exhibition hall is composed of the Nvidia Collaboration Zone, Product Portfolio Zone, and Event Zone. It is operated with a focus on experiential content so that visitors can intuitively understand AI memory technology.

The Nvidia Collaboration Zone, located at the entrance of the exhibition hall, is a core space that intensively showcases the collaborative achievements between SK hynix and Nvidia.

SK hynix showcases cases where its memory products, including HBM4, HBM3E, and SOCAMM2, have been actually applied to various Nvidia AI platforms. The memory configurations installed in GPU-based AI accelerators are implemented in both model and actual forms.

The liquid-cooled eSSD developed through collaboration with Nvidia, as well as Nvidia’s AI supercomputer ‘DGX Spark’ equipped with the company’s LPDDR5X, are also on display.

In the Product Portfolio Zone, visitors can view at a glance a lineup of memory products targeting the AI era, including HBM4 and HBM3E, which are the core of AI infrastructure, as well as high-capacity server DRAM modules, LPDDR6, GDDR7, eSSD, and automotive memory solutions (Automotive Solution).

Visitors can directly select products of interest using a joystick and check the features and application cases of each product on the screen. The Event Zone operates the ‘HBM 16-Layer Stacking Game,’ inspired by the HBM stacked structure.
