Boy band 2PM will hold its first full-group concert in Korea in nearly three years this August, reuniting all six members for a two-day performance in Incheon, according to the group’s agency JYP Entertainment on Monday.
The band announced that it will stage the concert series, titled “The Return,” at Inspire Arena in Incheon on Aug. 8 and 9. The series will be the group’s first six-member stand-alone performance in Korea since September 2023, when the band celebrated the 15th anniversary of its debut.
The official announcement by JYP Entertainment came a day after the group teased “The Return” to attendees at the second of its weekend concerts at Tokyo Dome through the venue’s electronic screens.
The two shows in Incheon are expected to continue the momentum generated in Tokyo, where 2PM celebrated the 15th anniversary of its official Japanese debut.
The concerts at Tokyo Dome also marked the band’s first standalone performance in Japan since the concert series “It’s 2PM in Japan” at Ariake Arena in Tokyo in October 2023.
The group last performed at Tokyo Dome in 2016 before the members began their mandatory military service.
At the Tokyo concerts over the weekend, 2PM’s set list spanned its entire discography and included hit songs such as “Heartbeat” (2009), “Hands Up” (2011) and “My House” (2015), as well as its Japanese-language releases.
The band closed the show with “I'll Be Back” (2010), revisiting a promise made during its last Tokyo Dome concert a decade ago to return to the venue.
Additional details regarding ticket sales for the Incheon concerts will be announced later through 2PM’s official social media channels, according to JYP Entertainment.
